Property of Honey Beeson

I've grown up around stealing all my life. I realized this yesterday and I am sure other people have witnesses as much stealing as I have in my life. I have seen a cast of characters to choose from as thousands of dollars were taken from my father's closet. I have watched as the thief gets justice over the right parties because they couldn't take being in the wrong.

So when I was stolen from only a week ago. I knew there was a feeling that all this would feel familiar. My iPod Nano has been stolen, from someone in my building. Actually this crime has been fairly easy to settle, but still is strange.

It baffles me that human beings can be so deceitful. That you can actually look me in the face and tell me you didn't steal my iPod. Then later I am to find out that you registered my iPod under your name and address. Tsk, tsk. It's scary though, maybe someone is trying to sabotage you. You did say this has happened to you before. Me thinks she is trying to scam me. . .

Summer Photos, Had Me a Blast

Some random pictures I took with my iPhone this summer:

Subway Ad defaced

Sweet Bird of Youth by Hirschfeld

Original Playbill of Judy Garland's Two-A-Day at the Palace. I would've stolen it if it weren't enclosed in glass.

My insane grandparents who live in that wonderland I discuss at an earlier date.

A clear depiction of where I grew up. Anyone from my area will recognize all these sites immediately.

The squishy toilet seat I bought when I moved into the apartment.

wtf?

wtf? x2
Anita Morris being flexible.

Yes, she had short hair. I know.

"I can't believe I'm this good looking."

All she ever needed was the music and the hairspray. Really, Donna really?

The keeper of death, bringing George Abbott to his final resting place. Actually it's Carol Channing helping George Abbott read the 1994 draft of Damn Yankees.

I'd assume this is from the Mame era.

Georgia Brown

Nice first night at home with Elizabeth. How grand, how grand! We chatted. It was the first time I had dinner made for me. I'll someday soon return the favor. It was not a night spent on the computer alone.

Enjoy the moments. Tomorrow is my date. We shall see. We shall see.

I need to sleep so I can run 4 miles tomorrow. Yes, 4 miles. And I'm back to morning time gym. How grand, no wait for machines and no crowd. The internship grows close to ending. Grand indeed.

I suppose it's a good thing that my biggest stress is why the iPhone apps won't work. Fuck you iPhone. Fuck you!

Hearing Reality

I'm going to test myself. Six days ago I ordered this wonderful pair of headphones. They somehow broke. I am hardly a stranger to broken headphones. No, I am not. Which is why I never go out and buy headphones more that cost more than say $50 and that's the maximum amount. I refuse to believe that a pair of $150 dollar headphones will be any less susceptible to damages than the cheaper pair. Especially, with how randomly the wiring messed up on these.

Now, I panicked because when this happens I need to buy new ones right away. Since iPhones are so clever they have made a jack that only supports iPhone specific headphone plugs. Fuck you Apple, fuck you. Which means you have to basically buy them from an Apple store. Blah blah blah. Seriously? Burden of life, I tell you!

Anyway, I came to realize today that I haven't listened to the world in about four years. I don't know if I'm a rare or common case, but I haven't been on the subway or walked down the street without music playing in my ears for longer than say an hour.

I did it for two purposes. One being that I wanted to drown out the city and possible comments I may hear. The second being, well it's nice to have music.

And you know what. Perhaps I should get used to not having music. Doing things like working in a cubicle may be difficult, but I can do it. Right? I think. We shall see, consider this a test run.

Picture-A-Day #77

Looking like a Ghost from the Fatal Frame Franchise. Meaning what you would get in points would probably be significant because you took a head-on shot (meaning you probably upgrade your camera now!) Therefore stunning the ghost from attacking you for a short amount of time. Thank God you decided to equip the stun feature before you met up with this ghost!

I am a geek, sometimes. And I miss Fatal Frame, it's one of the only games that REALLY made me nervous and I don't think I've ever beaten one because they frightened me so much. I mean all you had was a camera for protection! And in order to damage the ghosts, you needed to take pictures of them. Meaning you had to wait until they we in the camera's view finder to damage them! But what was worst was you needed to capture a certain part of their face to deal damage and get points. They would always be looking at the floor or something.

This picture of the day took me far to long to create. Only proves that I am artsy deep down inside still.

Guess who's going swimming tonight at 9:30? While I still have the option, might as well make use of the YMCA's pool.

I am trying to be happy. Really trying. This is serverly difficult when I find out I'm being forced out of my apartment. I have a month, ample time. Without warning. So yea, that is that. More on that later.

The way her eyes dart around all over the place. They looked demented.

The pores in my nose are so large I once found a family of rabbits in there.

Picture-A-Day #065

I feel so special. My aunt bought me two new pairs of shoes. A new spring jacket. 5,000 pairs of socks and a nice special edition Whitney Centennial T-Shirt from Gap. As well as a terrific expensive dinner. They're not special shoes, but they don't have holes in them like my old ones.

Let's get through this final an then begin summer, shall we?

Sunday, May 18

Picture-A-Day #063

It's weird to have someone close to you now. Who you actually share a history with. But she's here and I appreciate her to no end. More about this whole thing later.

Tomorrow is the AIDS Walk! I raised 600 as I planned. It's not the people who didn't donate, it's the people who said they WOULD donate and fell through as flakes. Is your life really that self involved that you couldn't take a moment and follow through with a promise? Yes, we're highly disappointed.

But thank you to those who did. All one of you.
